Don't know which day you all went to sch but Tuesday was marking day so it was a holiday for all students. On usual days, 11.30AM is indeed lesson time for the AM session.

We've been away and OMG sooooo many pages to catch up on!!!
My gal is in RESPECT!! Ya,looks like I've got to explain to her all the meanings of the words....the car de-cals form have to be handed up soon...

We are super excited!!!My gal is really looking forward to P1.I just hope the work won't be too hard on her...ha....my time soo super \"senang\" you can sing your ABC song means you are smart...can read some simple sight words means you are a genius....I checked out some P1 assessment books at popular today....wah...some of them are really quite \"cheem\" no joke!!!

Yes yes I am super concerned and alerted when I flipped through those past years exam papers and assessments of P1.... I am not the very kisau type and have a min level of confidence in my girl that she might not be the brightest but I think she slightly above average... but when i saw those papers I was soooo alarmed. It's \"cheem\" lor.... How not to be on the tips of our toes leh??

May I know the curriculum hours for this school (Upper Primary - P.5 and P.6) and is there any Contact Time (if yes what’s the school hour on that day)? I’m compiling the curriculum hours of more schools before I talk to my child’s school principal. Thank you.

have been away for 10 years n finally will be coming back in Aug next yr to register my gal in MC for 2012 P1...so excited to hear that MC has good teachers and the gals r comfortable there......keep on posting when ur gals have started P1 next year to update me ok.....enjoy yourself at the orientation

BTW am staying in Bishan...good chance of getting in?

Aiyo, tik my DD average only. somemore always told by teacher she lacked focus

Now IM trying to prepare her for simple math skills (her math skill is definitely lacking), hopefully she will b more attentive in P1 and catch up wif the rest when the term begins.

Fr all the past yrs' records, phase 2c seems to stand very good chance even if you stay out of 2km. So u should stand a very gd chance, esp since Bishan shld be within 2km rite?
