Thanks Tinkerbelle for the detailed info. I am also not complaining about the PE lessons… I loved PE lessons when I was in school so I know my girl will too. She will be delighted if I were to tell her this…
I have called the school to check about the parking for tomorrow… They said as long as we are not ridiculously late, there will be no problem in parking. Well, I am concerned becos we are talking about parents of 220 girls… even 2/3 turns up also quite big group, easily 100 cars… -
Hi Parents,

can i check with you the below?
1.) how many set of uniforms should we order? 2 sets, is it enough?
2.) is there a school logo on the socks or just plain white socks? (coz i bought many socks for DD already, not sure if i still need to buy from united uniforms?)
3.) anyone knows any school bus service i should approach to go around balestier road? so many bus services and not quite sure which one is for my area, sigh..

Ya, the new system is quite confusing. DDs mentioned that the P told them that the top classes are 'Humilty' and 'Compassion'. The rest are 'mixed ability' classes. -
Thks Tinkerbelle,
I have another daughter going for orientation tmr.Hopefully the P can explain more on the new system. -

Enjoy your Orientation Day tomorrow. So exciting, rite!! DD finally heading off to primary sch.
For parking, if you are early, you can park in the sch compound but parking is limited there. If sch car park is full, you can also park at the Marymount Kindergarten/Church car park (just down the road from MCS). There's a path that leads to MCS.
Worse case scenario, you can also park at the nurseries or Mt. Alvernia (parking fees apply) opposite the sch and walk over to the sch. -
Don't forget the Daddies as well

I'm sure the P will inform the P1 parents about the new classes tomorrow as she usually introduces all the P1 teachers and classes during Orientation Day. Maybe you can enlighten the rest of us after the briefing. Many tks.
Which P1 class is your DD2 going to next year? There are lots of new P1 parents here. Maybe you can add your name to the P1 class list cantbearit2 started. -
