      I dont have a scanner at home.Sorri.

I guess the best is to get the soft copy, so dont have to retype.

I love to be the good guy, but dont have the means.

Why the parents refused to share?

I believe a good deed goes a long way...

      cheers

Thanks Mrs Wong for the input.

I have just bought the full sets of 2010 sa paper. But one of the sa1 paper is incomplete.

Honestly, I dont mind sharing the papers with the rest only if its a soft copy.I believe in sharing with others, after all its already paid for.

      Cheers

Did you buy from Jeremy? You can actually call him to check if it's a printing error in your set or an error on his side. He will usually replace the missing set.

Since you don't mind sharing the papers, then you scan in the whole set and post online?
Then I don't have to do it for the P6 set, will save me around 1 hour of scanning time plus 30 minutes of upload time. šŸ˜„

Cos I got phonecalls from parents from this forum demanding that I scan and upload all the 2010 papers NOW. And, I got parents of existing students who are angry with me for uploading the papers to share with everyone because they believe they paid for the papers.

So, you be the good guy since you've already got the papers, then I won't get bugged and shot by the parents šŸ˜›

Guess they are worried about other kids winning their kids?
        I have no idea too.
I love to share (that's why I even bother to spend time and money to buy and scan) but my current students are my responsibility and if their parents feel that my actions have caused their kids to not perform as well as others, then I guess I have to stop?

Not everyone is as open-minded and generous to share such information/resources.

Similarly, I do not appreciate people calling me at odd hours (got parents call me at midnight and 6am) to demand for me to upload the papers for them immediately. I did it out of goodwill during my free time, and I'm not obligated to post it up for them at their demand (and they are not even the parents who paid for the sets).
Quite upsetting to have such parents hounding me all the time, especially when I'm having lessons.

I really wonder how our next generation will turn out to be, expecting that everyone gives them their every wish on demand?

          Hi,

          I understand.

Wining by other children?Aiyo, psle is a nation wide exam, just not between a few kids.I guess they ought to be more confident in own child.

This set of papers is available to everyone, as long as u pay.Am sure many already have a copy.

Poor u, busy with tuition, children and got disturb in the wierd hours.....

Anyway, hang in there, and hope the parents dont come and disturb u anymore.

          Cheers

Calling people at odd hours is really uncalled for unless it is really urgent or on matters concerning life and death.
If you have the resources, strictly speaking, you have the every right to share or keep. But by sharing, you benefitted more people and showed your generosity.
I know some tutors posted free exam papers for downloading in their website - sounds wonderful ? When I click the download, it asks for a password which means is not free downloading at all.

Wah.. I wouldn't dare ask anyone to do scanning unless they offer! Yeah - you already knokw how long it takes.

The other night, I just spent 3 hours scanning in my son's Math & English papers to email for his tutors to see! I was in tears! :x

I spent alot investing in a better auto scanner so it takes a shorter time, but still, the set is so thick, need around 1 hour per subject per level!

That's why I was no successful in trying to compile past year exam papers last year. No one wanted to scan and email to me lah!

I'm toying with the idea of people photocopying and send to me by post. The benefits of doing that will be that they will get a printed copy of all the compiled papers. Not sure if it's feasible, but can be considered for next year. šŸ™‚

Or maybe CKS can consider this! Those who upload papers will be allowed to download papers uploaded by others. So no monetary exchange needed, only some effort.
This way, we will also get to see papers from neighbourhood schools, not just 'top schools'.

Yah, mine is the home type, so have to take all the pages out, then keep flipping to another page one-by-one.
