Vevey:
I just ordered online from pacific bookstore that managed the sch's bookshop.
Just checked but NCPS not in its list of sch or bcos the booklist not avail yet? :?DoDo_DoDo:
Maybe easier to just order from Popular

Decided not to buy chinese character cards yet until teacher wants it.
Even tho Popular is 10cts cheaper per bk, we will still need to get some English bks & worksheets from Pacific, so the minute savings is not worth the hassle of running 2 places. No wonder no NCPS parents fax the booklist to Popular (yet).
hahahaa...:b -

Check the details on http://www.pacificbookstores.com
Must we buy books on that? Will it run out if I buy another day? Disappointed that letter never mention how much is each (e.g. books) so that we know how much to bring....
In fact, just order online & pay by credit/debit cards!

Hi, I am considering NCPS for my boy. Was wondering for parents with kids already there, how do you find the principal and teachers in the school on the whole? Do they push alot just on academic results or do they care for the development of the student as a whole person in all aspects? Appreciate any useful feedback. Tks
Also, iβm not sure if its too late for me to join the SHHK now if my son is born in 2006. -
Tks for the feedback on the enrichment courses
Went to Orientation Day at the sch today; the performance by the students were great. DS had an assessment done in his new classroom and returned with a letter advising us to sign him up for English enrichment. -

I also signed up for both the 10-day english & chinese enrichment courses. There are also many weekend prog when school starts. Any parents actually let your child attend such CCA from P1? I like many of the prog (like badminton, wushu, arts etc) but timing seems to clash with each other and add up to be quite expensive. Any advice if I should let my son to go for such things at P1? I also heard that for badminton, if don't join from P1, they won't accept when at P3. Is that true? Tks. -
For P1, any idea when will we get the student pass and time table? I actually expected it to be on orientation day today, 22 Nov.

For Badminton it's true that if you do not join from P1, they will not accept for school team. It's stated clearly in the Alumni Program book.

Timetable should be during the first week of school.
For student pass, it usually arrives in Jan - Mar. Depends on how fast the school arranges for the photographer to come in and take their pics, then send them over to the EZ-Link office.
Some schools as parents to submit passport photos which they will use as the student pass photos, those schools usually receive their cards earlier. -
Hi, anyone knows when do we need to submit the weekend program application form? Dun tell me is today

You mean to sign up for the different enrichment programs available by the Alumni?
Preferably is TODAY as it is based on first come first serve basis (most classes we have a limit of how many students/classes we are opening). E.g. For 3G abacus, we are opening 2 classes and the 10am class was almost full when I left today at around 12.30pm.
However, you can still sign up this SATURDAY or SUNDAY by heading down to NCPS. There will be a table with a friendly volunteer outside the Alumni office to collect the form and payment.
