It may be time for you to outsource the coaching. An acquaintance told me how his two kids "woke up" from being lazy. They all attributed their wake-up calls to their tuition teachers, despite the parents telling them the exact same things. Get tuition teachers who know how to motivate, not just teach. He recommended 1-to-1 tuition as they give more attention to the kid and have more time to "motivate" through chit-chat. But I am not sure if P2 kids will find 1-to-1 tuition interesting.
