Hey , my child got 242 + 2 for his PSLE results . Is it possible for him to appeal into River Valley High ?

Sorry to be a damper, but 242 + 2 to appeal to RVH successfully seems very, very far fetched. Hope you don't mind. But that said, unless of course, your child really something to offer to RVH, something which they are very desperate to \"grab\" for eg, otherwise, I would say chances are very, very slim.

Nope , dont have to be sorry . I somehow also think so . Hope my child's CCA acheivements and the testimonial from his teacher would help .

If he has a good cca to support him, can try. Do u also consider Nan Hua, SAP school?

Yes, trying RV for the 1st choice , 2nd for Nan hua . If RV reject my son for the S1 Posting Exercise , we would try to appeal on 23rd December . This is how you appeal right ?[/quote]Yes appeal can be done after S1 posting result.

Hey, My son got his PSLE score 218 only though he got 4A (with CL).


I am not sure how this aggregate score calculated, but both me and my son are disappointed with the result.
Any one can tell is that right score for 4A?
I checked around even for 3A+1B got 238, and other 4A students got 242 and above.
Is the appeal to review the result may work?

with his current score, which school he should apply in Ang Mo Kio area?
Is Peirce Sec school good?

Yes , there should be a possibility for him . 236 + 3 = 239 . Quite close to the COP of 242

My neighbor has scored 247 including her higher chinese. St Nicks has IP program me in 2013 right? I heard that when we reach sec 2 than we would be able to chose if we want to get into IP during sec 3. How much chance will she stand to get into st nicks or cedar? Will the COP drop this year?

The new 7 IP Schools do not start with 2010 P6 Batch.

It start from 2011 P6 Batch for VS and 2012 P6 Batch for the other 6.

Sec 2 refers to the 2 batch of students who go to the non IP of the schools and when they do well in sec 2 have a chance to switch.

Thanks. But do you mean switch to another school which currently offers IP? But when you say do well is there a marks average or min?
