      mommy2two:
      mum2dan,

my exact sentiments, i worry that after K2, my kid simply not prep for P1 if the current style of teaching and curriculum continues - yet they keep increasing the fees to almost comparable to pte childcare/kindy!

if they do have better programs in line with the fee increase, i probably wun gripe that much... just have to wait n see what new/improved programs they will be rolling out next year!

Kindergarten Plus is combination of current kindergarten + childcare.
my gal's childcare is closing by year end so next year she will be transfered to another nearby PAP kindy. but because the closure affects quite a number of children, this nearby PAP kindy had to take all of them in (including toddlers) and hence, have to adopt the childcare type of services as well (7am-7pm).

my gal will be in N2 next year.
what enrichment class you send ur gals ah?
i thinking of berries but my coligs say dun waste $, start when my gal is in K1.
maybe i will send her for phonics 1st... but she still have prob wif her alphabets; dun even know how to write yet! only just started to learn strokes! very slow, rite?
Wouldnt it be too crowded? Since if its as costly as pte ones, do you consider a change of school?

My 2 gals taking zoophonics at Bt. Timah, Elder gal takin piano and arts classes.

Berries to learn Chinese? My colleagues advise me to lay foundation on Phonics 1st. At k2, then start them on chinese (hanyu pinyin) in order nt to confuse them. eg. english Pan and hanyu pinyin \"pan\" 盘, Im heading that direction though.

I suggest u can start her on phonics, I find that its very good. No la, 3years old... cant really write. More impt is tat they recognise and knows e sound of the alphabets.

May i know how much u do all paid for the PCF uniforms per set? I just bought the uniforms $16 per set, but i happen to see that my friend paid only $15 per set. We bought at different areas. I taught that all the uniforms now are all the same, only the materials might be not same cause different areas different teaching method.

Ours is $13-16 per set, depending on sizes & whether PE or proper uniform.
PCF uniforms r still different, according to the branches.
