      HelloKiasu:
My friend got 243 with hmt 246. what is her chances of getting into RV?

Sorry to be a damper, but very, very slim chance for a 246 to get into RV.

I'm very disappointed with my results.

            I got 230 + 2 (HCL)...can I put the choices as below:

            1. Nan Hua (COP 09:242)
            2. Commonwealth (COP 09: 236)
            3. Swiss Cottage (COP 09: 234)
            4. Clementi Town (COP 09: 230)
            5. Fuhua (COP 09: 229)
            6. Kranji (COP 09: 229)

or should i give up Nan Hua and put COmmonwealth as my first choice and my last choice be Jurong (COP 226)

            thanks in advance.
Sorry if I sound like a damper, but your choices are not very wise. Your HMT can only be used for SAP schools like NH and NH's COP is 242, so means even with your 2 HMT points, you are still 10 points from NH's COP. Use your choices wisely.

For your choices No 2 and No 3, they are rather risky in my opinion. Don't forget that they are not SAP schools, so your extra 2 points in HMT cannot be used to enter these two schools, so means you would be entering based on your T-score of 230.

Support 25hourmaid's opinion. As mentioned in my earlier reply, your first 3 choices are too risky.

can anyone advise if my son's score 213 (4As) possible to get into Ang Mo Kio Sec? Thanks.

Very unlikely for the COP to drop 14 points. AMK's COP 227.

                    HelloKiasu:

                    Help Help! :? :?:

                    I scored 252 with Hmt (254). I need suggestions.

                    1.River Valley High
                    2.NanHua High
                    3.Bukit Panjang Govt. High
                    4.Commonwealth
                    5.Jurong sec

I need to find one more school. Is there any suggestions to which I should add or remove?

Dunman High School, COP 258 (2009). (not distance wise)
SCGS, COP 251 (2009). (not distance wise)

Not a wise advice. Her T-score is 254 with HMT and that puts her 4 points below Dunman Hihg's COP of 258. SCGS and MGS would be better considerations if distance is not a problem.

My son got 3A* and 1A for his PSLE this year, but his aggregate marks is only 249. If based on the lowest score for each of his A*s and A, the calculation also does not justify the mark to be only 249... could there be a typo or calculation error? How can I appeal? I go to this website http://www.seab.gov.sg/ but were can I find the exact site where I can appeal?

The PSLE score is based on how well other people do. If it is an easy paper, then it will be harder to get a higher score. The score of A* and A changes every year, depending on how well other people do. I got 247 and I got 3 A's (I am exempted from chinese). I don't think it is a typo, and even if you appeal, they will never release the raw scores. The PSLE papers are locked away in a safe, and if not ,they were shredded into pieces. It's impossible to find out the raw score
