Last year NYGH COP is 263 and RGS COP is 260, does NYGH COP has HMT score added?

      semaj:
If you base on COP alone, then the top five schools would be 1.RGS 2. NYGH 3.RI 4.HCI 5. Dunman High in order. NB: I know that for last year, the cut off point for NYGH was higher than RGS and Dunman High was higher than HCI. But that was for only last year. In previous years, since 2003, it has always been the top 5 ranked with RGS being top and HCI at 4th ahead of Dunman High.

But don't forget that NYGH has students coming in with affliation from Nanyang Pri. And for them the COP point is 253 or there abouts.

                  noob:
RV, DHS, HCI you can use HCL (255+2) to apply but not for NJC as it is not a SAP school. So base on your score, RV stand very good chance, HCL & DHS boarderline and NJC below their cut-off point last year (lesser chance).

same headache here... 237.. Ngee Ann Sec should be the 1st choice ? we stay in the east... any suggestion, pls .

Since NUSH results will be out a week before S1, I understand, once NUSH's offer is accepted, the child will automatically be dropped from S1.

It means last year the average T-score of NYGH students is lower than RGS, right?

                      School\t 2009-S1 \t 2010-S1
                      Hwa Chong \t259-3=256 \t257-3=254
                      Nanyang Girls’ \t263-3=260 \t263-3=260
                      Raffles Girls’ \t263 \t260
                      Raffles Institution \t262 \t259

Thus RI and RGS average T-score should be higher than HCI and NYGH.

I think there are China scholars in RGS too but I think the number is smaller as NYGH/HCI is more well known to mainland Chinese than Raffles. In an ealier thread on this forum, someone wrote this: Go to NYGH/HCI if you want to study in Beijing/Oxford & Cambridge (humanities programme). But if you want ot go to US Ivy League, then go to Raffles JC. So want to study in China go to NYGH. Want to study in US, study in RGS. Sorry this may sound very blunt. No offense to NYGH or RGS.
