Could anyone advice, if the choice is ok for T-score of 234 +2(HMT).

I am living around Tiong Bahru
      1) Cresent Girl's (240)
      2) Gan Eng Seng Sec(222) - nearer to house
      3) Clementi sec (230) - recommended by teacher
      4) CHIJ St Thersae (231) - recommended by cousin
      5) Tajong Katong Sec (230)
      6) Chung Cheng(main) (236)
      TIA.

Why not put Clementi Town Sec before Gan Eng Seng ? Since COP of Gan Eng Seng is lower, you can place it further down. Clementi Town is not so far from Tiong Bahru, just need to take MRT to Clementi. I heard from a friend whose son is in Clementi Town that his son's teachers are quite responsible, will call parent if child doesn't do homework or misbehave. I think parents like this kind of teachers πŸ™‚

Based on this order of choices, if you can't get into Crescent, you will definitely get into Gan Eng Seng. Is this what you want ?

      Thanks, I will reconsider. ; )

My daughter would very much like to choose NYGS or RGS. but I think their cut off point are higher. Should I give it a try?

        Can I appeal if fail?
2nd Tier would be Dunman High or NJC or NUS high.
and Only Dunman high is a SAP sch which accept +2.
Should I risk my first choice by choosing NYGS or safely put Dunman or NJC as first choice.
Please advise? Thank you very much.

Hi, to all those staying in the North or familiar in North side...

Please help to advise which is a better school for my daughter scored 224..

Im planning to include the following:
          Mayflower
          Beatty
          Peirce

i have no particular order yet, im not local here, so i would really appreciate if anyone can feedback which is better between the 3 schools...

Beatty is better one. My daughter's friend studies there & seems to be quite happy since last year PSLE. It is good school for girls

Hi DadofGirl, thanks so much for the info, im also planning to put Ang Mo kio Secondary, do you think this is better than Beatty?

My kids are not taking PSLE yet and yet my heart palpitates when I am watching the updates. Think I will probably faint from excitement when it's my kids' time to receive PSLE results. Ha

Btw, Rulang still no news. Confirmed that the sch has 32 students who scored A*. But no news for top scorer??
My hands were icy cold and trembling when I was waiting for the principal to finish her speech and announce the top scorers. πŸ˜„ Luckily, my girl's name was announced first. Yippee! :celebrate:

                        Hi,

If the COP for RGS is the same as last year, then your daughter will be able to get in. However, nobody knows for sure which direction the COP will go. Different people has different views, analysis and comments. There is no harm to place RGS as your first choice, as all posting is based on Merit. Just exercise your 2nd and 3rd choice carefully. Good luck !
