Does anyone have a copy of Straits Times 2010. I need it so that I can do some homework.

I am planning for Pri 1 registration in Year 2013, Pei Chun Public School @Toa Payoh but not sure whether want to move to within 1 km.

You're planning for registration in 2013 ? It's rather far to plan...as MOE can change rules anytime. You can roughly make a guess based on this year's registration. It's hard to predict 2012. But balloting within 1km of popular schools will be expected for most if not all schools by then.

chk out the sch of choice’s balloting history within 1km and also how many residential projects are there within 1km. plus where other schools are there in the catchment


like chs, i forgot that every1 here is within 1km of the sch.

　CHIJ (Toa Payoh) No balloting within 1KM
CHIJ (Kellock) 1-2Km
CHIJ (Katong) Primary Outside 2KM
CHIJ Our Lady of Good Counsel Outside 2KM
CHIJ Our Lady of Nativity Outside 2KM
CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ School Within 1KM

REFERS TO PHASE 2C : CHIJ Primary (Toa Payoh) has places only for children who have registered in the school and are living within 1km of the school. Therefore, children living outside 1km of the school are unsuccessful in their registration. No balloting will be conducted in CHIJ Primary (Toa Payoh).

How could there be balloting in P2CS when the school had balloting in P2C? :scratchhead: If the school had balloting in P2C, it meant demand > supply, and if demand > supply, there wouldn't be any vacancies left for P2CS.
