I ordered online last week n collected last Friday. Nobody there at all because not walk in day. So I recommend don't go during walk in day. Got one mummy there wanted to buy on the spot but was asked to order online instead.

Thanks for your advice. I had intended to collect last week but was away. I set the date to collect this Fri. Hopefully, the queue will be better after most of the levels walk-in sales are over from this Monday onwards. I guess that mummy had gone on a non-walk-in sale day last week so was advised to order online? I think this new bookshop handled the textbook sales quite well. Instead of allowing that mummy to buy on a non-walk-in day, they played fair by requesting her to order online.

Yes, I suppose so. Actually my collection date was Thursday but I went on Friday. But still they took 10 mins to look for my online order receipt (seems it was misplaced). And they only started looking for the books I ordered when they found the receipts. *sigh*

Bou 2 sets of the sch uniforms today. The boys’ shirt sizes only come in XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL. Not like last time different number sizes. Boys shorts comes in number sizes.

Anyway, I am not ordering online becos I need to see the CL reading book Xi You Ji. We hv a copy at home from my elder boy's P4 days. Need to verify if it is the same as the booklist did not specify the publisher (\"LingZi\" is a distributor only).

The Chinese book was not available last Friday too. They said the child can collect when school reopens.

It was out of stock for my walk-in today. I saw sb checking his purchase that comes in a box, he has the EL yellow plastic file.

Congrats! It's not your 1st choice, are you comfortable with this posting result? Did your dd's classmates get posted to their 1st choices? Realized ur dd is only child, do continue to pop by this thread after your dd's transfer, ok?

Thanks, I am fine with it. Most of dd's classmates got into their 1st choices. ( I think 2 of them, I am very sure of it). Anyway, I will know when dd is in the new school. If there is something I can contribute or kapo, you will see me here. I think I will most definitely going to miss this PHPPS thread, as this is the most thread that I 'talk' and share the most. Infact, I think I will miss PHPPS more than my dd. Yes, XS, S, M, L, XL much easier to remember than 24, 26, 28, 30. I bought new ones last year, still too big to be worn this year...kiasu mummy. No need to buy for next 2 years.

For P5, there is an Eng story book avail only mid Jan.

I’m thinking of letting go 3 titles of son’s books…problem is I need to see the condition before I proceed.
