I am a PV at St Hilda already (live <2km) but have not started any PV work yet….
I live <1km away from Poi Ching

Would like to seek comments & opinion from those whose kids is at Poi Ching or St Hilda, how good or bad is the school for the kids….

looking at the balloting history of st hilda, unless u are <1km>1km<2km still subject to balloting...

Hi I'm also recently being selected for PV. Just wonder what programs u do? I've selected almost every PV programs in the form & now I kind of regret picking all. I'm gonna be there mon~fri every week & commitment is 1 full year... Sigh... Almost like full time staff already...& still no guarantee even at phase 2b... Really gotta think carefully whether we wanna spend more time with the school or spend more time with our child..,

Last Friday, there is a couple who tick everything... they thought it means what they are able to do, misunderstood it... they spoke to katherine and she is going to reconsider their application....

how many pv are there in total for born in year 2005 batch?

I chose those 11am to 1pm programmes… I mention no preference but can only do once per week…


I found the below info for 2010 registration… I wonder for our batch of pv… how many of us stay <1km, how many stay <2km. do u happen to know?

Vacancies for Phase 2B 43
Total Registered for Phase 2B 68 (within 1km - 24, between 1km to 2km - 23 & outside 2km - 21)

So the odds is 23 applicants for 19 seats for those staying between 1km to 2km.

The problem is the uncertainty of clan/church affiliation + RC registration. The 43 available places still subject to this uncertainty before PV allocation…

Here's our Problem, pls advise. Our child is a 2007 baby. We live less than 1 km from St Hilda, nearest to our place. We plan to PV at St Hilda. However, we will be away overseas from Aug/Sept 2011 to Sept/Dec 2012. Assuming we clear stage 1 of the PV application (selected base on form only), how do we cross the rest of the hurdles? If base on phase 2C, we really dont have much of a shot, balloting less than 1 km about 330% or so. Thx
