          Hi all

After reading reviews on the highly raved maths enrichment centres, I finally decided and enrolled my DS in Enopi yesterday over at Roxy Sq.
Classes are conducted ratio of 1:4 which i think is good so teacher can focus on individual ability.
I hope to see more feedbacks frm mommies who sent their kids to Enopi.

my DD studies in roxy Sq. from last June. i can see her progress on accuracy of the work. 😄

          Hi waterfall
So ur dd is in RS too? Great! I started my boy with hopes tht he'll learn to love maths all over again like when he was in K1. Haiz, i shldnt dampen his spirits in getting a pvt tutor initially:(

It is up to different people perspective and whether it is suitable for the child.

Overall, ultimate aim still want for the benefit of the kid to adapt to the learning environment instead of making them pressurised.

                  Hi,

actually Enopi and MPM just focused on the workbooks right? The teachers actually did not \"teach\" anything right? I really dun like it. I visited Enopi recently and they give a test to my boy, so my boy was stuck in a question which I asked the teacher in this scenerio how are you going to teach my boy on this question. She said \"oh maybe this level is too difficult for him we will just start him off another workbook which is more to his standard\" But my boy has done afew question in that workbook already and just because he is stuck in one question she decided the level is too difficult for him instead of helping him to encounter this problem?

I asked her what is the role of the teacher in helping with creative/logical thinking? She told me to take alook at the other set of creative workbooks and see for myself the method? :? So I just buy the workbooks sufficient since no need to have the teacher around?

i do agree the teachers may not ‘teach’. but the wkbks, whr mpm or enopi wkbks are great. mpm for the creativity but it seems the topics are randomly group cos its ‘spiral’ approach, not structured, while enopi is structured, a bit like kumon drillg but the wkbks are colorful. but they dont cover topics on money and 1 more i forgot is wat.

unfortunately they dont sell the wkbks, otherwise it will be great to buy the wkbks to drill our kids and teach ourselves n save $140 a mth.

also, they are great for presch but for upp pri i m not sure cos they may not hv that kind of olympiad prob sums.

In our case, if the kids encounter a problem, the teacher will guide them. Also, if they have issues with school maths, they can also approach their teacher at Enopi.

I am totally agreed with MMM, the teacher in Enopi will go through with the children on the concept and trying to build up their confidence.

Although it is doing workbook but it is the foundation for the kids where nowadays in primary school, it is moving in the fast pace. It will destroy their confidence if they cannot understand the basic.
