For pick up, traffic can get quite heavy along Hillcrest Road from 15 min before gate opening times. The gate opens at 1.30 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays and 1pm on the other days (assuming no change from 2010). If you are not driving in, you can wait for your daughter just outside the guardhouse. She will walk out to meet you. If it rains, parents etc will be allowed in to wait in the tuckshop.

If you are driving in, cars will be allowed in 10 min after the gate opens. The 10 min is to allow the school buses to move off first. The car queue can snarl out onto Dunearn Road and it is common for drivers who want to turn into Hillcrest Road from Dunearn Road to do so from the middle lane.

Just wanted to mention that for morning drop off, do send your daughter in before the gate closes at 7.20 am to avoid getting her booked by the prefects.

Hope the above info helps. You and your daughter will get used to the routine in no time at all! πŸ˜„

Think the rules on uniform, hair, shoes etc can be found in the student handbook which I haven't bought this year (which is in the booklist). However, I believe their shoes need to be white shoes only. I don't see students wearing sports shoes but if there is a medical reason for needing to wear them (eg for better arch support), you should be able to get clearance for that.

                hi everyone,

Just wondering if RGPS let the students participate in UNSW ICAS tests?

Understand that we can only participate in the tests through school and they do not entertain individual enrolment though...

                Thanks πŸ™‚

                Rgds,
                Ming

Hi. Believe the school does because I recall my friend mentioning that her RGPS dd sat for it but her dd is in upper primary gep so I will have to check with her whether all upper primary students or only gep students are invited to sit for it. If any parent knows, please jump in. πŸ˜„

                    Hi to everyone!

Chanced upon this website and forum recently and found the information here really useful. My dd has been transferred to RGPS and she will be in P4 next year. Up till now, we only received a letter from MOE to confirm the transfer and to report to the school on 4 Jan 11 but we hear nothing from her new school. Just wondering if this is normal? Can anyone shed some light?

Hello and welcome. You might like to give the GO a call to find out what is happening? The no is 6468 4377. Btw, the booklist is in the website under Publications>Forms.

                      Cheers.
