Okies - i think i can be considered as one super 'ks' mum. I signed up ds for BOTH Berries and TienHsia for next term (Jan 2011)!!

Like that how you able to judge which lang school is giving you the power?

      Hi Titank,

Ds1 has been with Berries from N2 to K2 - next year he will be in P1 and will still continue his Berries class.

I just started him with Tien Hsia (cos i think his CL really very chiak lat - not much practice at home and in school lah) - so far - his feedback is Tien Hsia is also fun BUT easier than Berries.

I will continue him for Jan 2011 term for both the Berries and TH class (paid in full for both liao)!! Then from there i will gauge from the center's worksheet and see which one i will drop (if im dropping either)!

      Will update later!! 😉
Wow you have 3 taking with Berries? Defintely very siong & can have a 钞票印刷 would be good good. Notice that my house downstair have an RC conducting chinese enrichment, quite good price where $75/mth with 4 lessons. The only setback is that they put the N2-K2 in 1 class.

              boring:
hi, intend to enrol dd in k2 class next year choosing between this 2 as its more convenient.

any feedback is greatly appreciated. 🙂
Hi my sister used to send her son to tien hsia but she felt it was quite academic. He didn't develop any interest in chinese and wasn't able to get over the mental block. So after some time, she tried berries and it was much better. More fun, and they have more activities and interaction. He enjoyed it alot more. So I guess it depends what you're looking for. I think berries is better for younger kids, especially if they have some 'phobia' of chinese and don't enjoy it.

I'll be enrolling my boy in berries too next year. Meantime I've been trying to make him more interested in chinese and to make it more fun. Got a scrap book and we cut and paste family photos, pics of outings/holidays, and cartoons, and write some words in chinese. e.g. father, mother, etc. He loves looking at the scrap book! I think it's important to help kids enjoy the learning process and not be afraid or put off by chinese. That's half the battle won.

                  Hi toddles,

Today my son went for second "trial". Turn out not to be a trial price but $32, cos he attended trial last week, so $15 offer is only for once.
Anyway, I am glad that his teacher is very responsible and encouraging. The environment is very clean and neat. Best is security is good.
I am very happy with this centre.

                    Hi Toddles,

I just realised I didn’t answer your qn abt Tampines central branch. Not sure if it is newer/ better, but to me it is a bit far for me.
