2011 P1 Registration Exercise for 2012 In-Take

My dd will be registering for P1 next year under phase 2C. I'm in dilemma : Zhangde or CHIJ (Kellock)?

Academic Standard: Kellock seemed to be better than Zhangde
Location: Zhangde (within 1km) vs Kellock (within 1 to 2km)
Transport: Zhangde (within walking distance, aftercare) vs Kellock (school bus, but if dd stay back for CCA, then it will be difficult as need a caretaker to bring her)

Has any parents here went through this dilemma or any advice? Thanks.

I have similar dilemma but deciding between Zhangde and Radin Mas. Zhangde nearer but Radin Mas has better results. More inclined towards Zhangde as more convenient for in laws to bring ds1 to and from school.

Hi my boy will enter P1 in Yr 2013. anyone can advise me when shall i register myself for the volunteer programme to increase my boy chance to get in the school.

I’m registrating my boy in 2011 too.

Deciding between 3 schools

1) SJI Junior (2A2)
2) Anderson Primary (2A2)
3) Hougang Primary (2C)

Anyone to share views on the schools? I stay like 3 blocks away Hougang Primary.

My girl's going to register for P1 next year... I'm concerned as I'm staying in Bukit Timah area with schools like SCGS and Nanyang within 1 km. Since both schools have high nos. of applicants, I don't know what to do!!!Plus, I think I've missed the PV registration thus, I can't qualify for Phrase 2B. What else can i do??

RGPS is the next closest but its est. 2 km away...... sob sob
