My DD will be a JC1 student in 2011. I am interested to strengthen her ability on the H2 subject - General Paper. I wonder is there any excellent enrichment/tuition center that has solid track record and performance oriented.

I thought GP is a H1 subject, not H2? My children are not there yet and I maybe naive about it.

I think we can ask the the child to read newspapers and magazines such as Newsweek, Times, Economists, etc. Discuss about current affairs and global issues with them as often as possible, e.g. over dinner. Encourage them to write about such issues. With that and learning in school, they should do well for GP without the need for tuition?

Yes, my typo error. It should be H1. My DD mentioned that inadequate GP assignments are given. I guess it is not easy for teacher to mark such lengthy papers frequently. Hence, she thought an additional external training provided by enrichment centers would be great.

Hence, I still wonder is there any suggestion from our Kiasu parents.

You mentioned earlier that your DD will be in JC1 in 2011. If that is the case, how does she know that inadequate GP assignments are given as she has not started JC1 lessons yet. :? Yes there are GP tutors but it depends on your budget per lesson.
