How to be one of the member in Tanjong Pagar RC?

I had filled up the form on the web but no reply from them.

Can you help pls!!

May I know how fast did the PA sent another email to collect his phase 2b letter? Does that that take more than a month from the time he apply direct to PA?

Logically, PA would send the P2B letters BEFORE P2B registration... if they can miss that dateline... then nothing to say liao...

I received it within 2 to 3 weeks after applied online. It all depends on the efficiency of the PA staff supporting your constituency. For my constituency, the letter is signed by SCM (Snr Constituency Mgr).

thanks for your reply. Btw does the letter gives us several school choices to apply as stated in the MOE website under the school by GRC?

Or during the online application at grassroot connect website, we have to state three choices of the school we intend to apply from schools in our GRC?

Nope. Was told that I need to receive a letter from PA/CC before I am allow to attend meeting as observer.

I was told that my screening got to be cleared first before allow to attend the meeting (even as observer) as some confidential/sensitive issues might be discussed during the meeting :?

Probably election is coming and PA is busy with this election preparation

No, the online application and letter does not state or required you to decide the primary school. Basically upon getting the P2B letter, you may apply to any pri sch under the GRC as stated in MOE web. PA does not handle Pri sch's application.

With election coming, will it affect the electoral boundary and hence school registration in 2011?


Heard from a friend that with the drawing of new boundary, their targetted school might no longer fall under their GRC list.

Do u know anybody in your RC zone? They might hv enough member liao. If u dun know them, u may like to attend any events, ie christmas party or new year party etc., there will be poster paste at the notice board, keep a look out. Sometimes G.O.H is there, and u can tell him about it. Grab any opportunity, hope this does help.

Just do remember, dun sign up in wrong RC will do.
