Yes dried leaves. Whenever it rains or the wind blows, there will be many leaves scattered around. I never try to set fire to the leaves except my house praying altar drawers

Now, that's funny, but I don't think your parents appreciated that!

During raining days, we will just make some paper boats and let it float outside the small drain. Sometimes the rain is so big that the drainage got struck and overflow. Water will then flows into our house
We also play under the rain... run to and fro neighbour house which is just a car length to get wet
After that kenna scolded by granny. -

Oh I loved it whenever it rained heavily! There was one year, think was way back in the 70s. There was such a heavy downpour that it flooded my house for the first time in history! :celebrate: My mum was SO upset that the house was flooded, but I was merrily jumping around, after all, it's not everyday that you get water coming into your bedroom and having all kinds of things floating around the house, right?
Made paper boats, but didn't have to go out into the rain to set them off!

Hahaha... That was funny. Luckily, the rain only comes into our hall, never reach the bedrooms. There was once the rain was so heavy, saw the worried look on my granny while praying. Granny was alone looking after the 3 of us at that point of time.

Haha, yes, those were the days.
Tell you something else about my childhood, but shhhhh, don't tell others, okay?
I loved to disturb ants' nest and caterpillars, though I used to be and still am dead freaky about caterpillars, but it was because I hated them so much that I disturbed them but in the end, had to pay a high price for my mischief!
One day, I was too free. Saw a trail of ants carrying a big fat, green caterpillar back to their nest. :!:
Decided to play with them. Quickly went into the house and got hold of a candle and some matches. Lit the candle and started dripping the wax on the caterpillar and encasing it in wax! :celebrate: Haha, that was fun! :celebrate: Then went on to attack the ants. Dripped the wax over the ants' trial too and killed everyone of them.
Was so happy that I disturbed not only the ants but encased the caterpillar as well! :celebrate:
Stood up to return the candle to the house and \"bang\"! Next thing I knew was blood dripping down my face!
I screamed and ran into the house to my mum. Guess what happened? I hit my head against the sharp corner of the wooden window as I stood up and my head suffered a small cut!
Mum rushed me to the clinic and all I could remember at the clinic was me screaming at the equally shocked doctor, \"Don't sew me, don't sew me\", I screamed!
The nice doctor laughed, no, \"No need to sew you!\", he said, much to my relief!
The cut was not deep enough to justify stitches. Didn't know what that was called then!
Haha, so lesson learnt that day! From that day onwards, the ants and caterpillars lived happily ever after, there was no need for them to fear a stupid 'giant' dripping wax on them!  -
LKVM:
  Ya lor, act smart!  Wanted to disturb and kill them, but paid for it on my part! :lol:25hourmaid:
