Glad to know all fellow PC kids’ parents.

Especially those in 1E, I still think peers are very important. I think it is good to get to know our children’s peers. As we know, when they are naughty or mis behaving in school, he will not come home and said he misbehaved in class. All we can do is to tap info from other kids.

Just like that day, after the orientation test, my DS refused to say a thing on it. He came back and said, he got 3 zeros for 3 words he can’t read. Ask him to spell out the word, he just said don’t know. Likewise this will applies to the behaviour in class.

Good that we have some parents support here and there. When we meet in school, we can exchange HP numbers. Looking forward to you all on the first day.

So fast they are going to Pri 1 … Time really flies

Hi, angel64. Had pm u my hp as I don't know where parents suppose to be on 1st day and whether I 'follow' 1E or 1H.
Btw, haha, I can't fish anything out from my DSs on what they do in pre-school too. Their std answer is don't know or can't remember.

Noted: I will check out my mail.

So our kids these days are smart. They will shut off in telling us what they do in school. So likewise I will expect the same thing once he is in PC.

I am letting him enjoying himself, play, tv, outdoor, etc as I know once term begins, his honeymoon is over. All the way, study till he goes to NS for a 2 yrs break before he heads to the U. That is the ideal case. But will see what his interest. We can't insist them to do in our way any more. It does not work now.

We will keep in touch .. curious to know your triplet ?? It is conceived naturally ?? or through assisted ? So expense sure sky high .. me 2 boys, already draining us, financially and mentally.

For us, we think 2 is ideal, easy to travel. No need to upgrade our saloon car to MPV. But again, it is fun to watch them grow up ..

Nice to know all the new parents here! Would be good if we can keep the thread going to share experiences and questions/answers/information in the various P1 classes so that we won't be lost when school starts and our kids can't tell us much about what's going on.

                  Hi Carebear77

Great to find a fellow parent in 1C! Will PM you my mobile number!

I tried to post a response yesterday but there were some network issue. My post got wiped out and I had no time to re-type. In the handout given during orientation, i think it was indicated where to attach the name tags on.

Wanted to ask if the name tags are to be ironed on or sewn on coz i heard during orientation that they are to be sewn on but you all mentioned ironed on in the threads. I have not taken a closer look at the name tags yet, will need to take it out soon to attach to the uniforms and to wash. Anyone attaching name tags to PE attires as well? Was told its optional ..

I think the handout also indicated things to bring on 1st day of school.

                    Hi Dark Chocolate,

I suggest you sew on the shirt intead of iron on as it is more secure. Does your kid go for any enrichment lesson?

The glue is not strong enuf to survive washings. I ironed on the tags then sew them too.

oh... as we went to the orientation earlier on the 15th instead of the 19th (out of town), thus we didn't receive any handout:S Are you able to share with me what to bring for 1st day?
                        Thanks alot.
