I was told CHS COP is 247, VS is 247 as well. Fren checked with both schools as he was appealing to both.

Oh...Just checked with my friend again, she said that she called MOE and the COP is 246. Hmm....Maybe my friend made a mistake >.<

Some info that I learned previously for those appealing..correct me if I am wrong..


the MOE posted list is to the last vacancy for most of the schools
vacancies only arise if someone opt out..
eg. A got a place at RGS and decided to go overseas...
and B got a place at Cedar and appealed at RGS and got the place vacated by A...and a vacancy arise at Cedar becos B has opted out..and so on...

I do think that some schools \"keep\" spare slots for appeal cases.

Went to both cedar and st nic's open house.

Cedar gave me a better impression as st nic was at the temporary site.
My marks could qualify for both.
But dint expect cedar's marks to be lower

St nic is sap school and bonus points are applicable.

Anyone has idea of COP for ACSI this year? How is the selection in IB course decided in ACSI?

We don't know the 'real' COP yet.

Selection for IB course is only on entry to Year 5.

If your son enters ACSI at Year 1 IP, he can still be tracked into the O-level track if he does badly in Year 2 or very badly in Year 3.

If he enters the non-IP track at Year 1, he can still enter the IP track at Year 3.

Regardless, a fair performance at Year 4 IP will let him enter Year 5 IB Diploma Programme; a good performance at Year 4 O-level will let him enter Year 5 as well.

Remember: the IP (Integrated Programme) simply is the track that lets you enter Year 5 IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme) without O-levels.
