Hi congrates! But I thought you have transferred your girl to RMPS?

ctct61t:
I'm so excited, just received a call for RGPS, my application to transfer my DD to RGPS is successful. She will be P3 next year. I hope she will enjoy her life and study in RGPS...I also need your parents help... to be familiar with the school soon.
Congratulations and welcome. A nice Christmas present for you. Hope your daughter will enjoy herself in rgps.

I may over worried, but really want to know more detail...maybe i'm too kiasu  -
ctct61t:
I think all of us already acknowledged that we are kiasuparents when we joined this forum so nothing to  about.

Also think your concerns are natural and valid since most people would feel like you in your new situation but don't worry too much. You and your daughter will get used to the routine and surroundings and be like any other rgps student and parent in no time. Just give yourselves time.

I'm wondering about the school bus, do I need to call school bus company directly, or school will help me to arrange for it? is there any MRT nearby the school? -

I'm not familiar with the school bus arrangements but my suggestions are:
aqeqiq, thank you very much.

- check with the GO on how to arrange
- call the number given in the school's website under \"publications\">\"forms\"
- experienced parents, please advise
As for the nearest mrt station, it is supposed to be newton. The bus services are available in the website under \"contact us\">\"School contact/location\". Another possible mrt station is buona vista but I don't know how to get to the school from there. Personally think the school bus would be your best option.
Happy Christmas. -
Thanks a lot…
I want to know whether RGPS re-orgnize student in different class base on their school result every year? are there any best class since P3, or even earlier… -
:!: Wah! Ctct61t, how many schools did you try?
Nevertheless, good news it is indeed! It's not easy getting into RGPS. :congrats:
But, the school is quite far from your house, right? -
Hi qms, found by you again. in fact, I did not tried too much lah, the best and the nearst good one...as a kiasuparents, we must try our best to help our kids to be in a good enviroments, we cannot help much on other area, only this...kiasuparents should be like this
Yes, RGPS is quite far from our site, that why i got a little bit worry...but, it's not so far compare those who lived in Changi, Tampinese...
