My bro got 252 and he didn't get into RV

He got into Catholic High.

If we want to appeal for RV tomorrow, must he also report to Catholic High also?

Can anyone tell me what documents we should bring for appeal?
Must have teacher's recommendation letter?
Or can we write our own recommendation letter regarding his achievements?

hi white_shimmer same here i got 249+3 got into st nic. you have to get your appeal form from rvhs and you are required to bring documents they are photocopies of psle results/posting memo p5 & p6 school results CCA records. no need recommendation letter hope this will help you in your appeal process good luck(this piece info is from the rv appeal form) btw form must be handed in before 24th of december 2010 12 nn

Same case with my daughter. My daughter appealed to RV. We are praying very hard and hopely can success.

Does anyone know how many places left in RVH? How come NJC still have 190 places left after S1 posting exercise?

think someone mentioned in RV thread that they counted 398 names on noticeboard or registration day. usual intake is 400 unless they have increased for 2011.

My child has 250+2 with 2A and 2A*. She's planning to appeal to NJC. Does she really need to put NJC as first choice, she missed last yr's COP by 7 points. Icalled NJC, ,they only have 190 places left Anyone understand how the system works?

I think most schools will offer this week. Based on what I seen in the past 2-3 yrs, the independent schools offer places to those appeals first ie NUSH offer a Student posted to RI. Then RI got vacancy, offer to appeals from those poster to Cat high etc so on and and so forth. The appeal vacancies becomes available down the line. Likely those appeal to top schools will get reply first.

My friend's Ds scored 227 and she has appeal for Ngee Ann too but I think the chance is very slim.

My advice is to submit documents to support the appeal. Like find out if her strengths and talents are what the school needs.
