My DH bring my DD to do the transition this morning. Hehe...so happy...


We don't know her class yet, just bought uniform, which is with green tag, her name tag is red, not sure the color stands for.

I will buy her textbook, there are 2 kinds of MT textbook, checked with General office, they say just need to buy HMT textbook. not sure the difference between these 2...

All things are new to us, just like her P1 new to school...it will be a busy and exciting week for us again.

All kids borned in 2002 will get red nametags when they enter P1 in 2009. This color stays with them throughout their stay in RGPS. So in 2009, the P1s are red, then in 2010, the P2s are red etc. It just help to identify which level they are in.

For school bus, u have to call the school bus operator directly to arrange for pick up/ drop off times etc. My girl's bus will arrive at 6:30am next year to pick her to school

My DD was afternoon section when she in P1 & P2, she is used to be sleeping late in the morning, usually got up after 9:30am. I think there should be a tough time for her to get up earlier, so I trained her to get up ealier this moring, waked her up at 7:00am, hope she can get used to it soon. :lol:

To beat the infamous Bt Timah huge traffic jam every morning lor, haha..u experienced it before?? I dont think the school bus can reach at 6:30am if u stay in Telok Blangah and the pickup time is 6:05am... Is ur dd the last to be picked up??

School assembly starts at 7:15 i think, not too sure either..

The route of Telek Blangah has not been firmed yet, bus driver told me the timing is based on this year's estimation...Hope the schedule timing can be later next year..

P3-6 pupils need to report ot school by 7.10am daily. Remember to bring the Parents/School Agreement form on 04 Jan 2011.

Wow, 6.05am pickup is so early but like Luanee said, the BT jam can get really bad during peak time. Btw, just a tip to share. If your DD cannot eat before pickup, let her bring breakfast to school and eat at tuckshop. She should have enough time if she arrives at 6.30am. I think the recommended time to arrive is by 7.10am but the school gates close at 7.20am. We are one of those rushing to beat the gate closing time every morning. :lol:
