It's stated in the letter, for Primary 5 & 6 top 5% $400 and 10% $350. I just banked in the cheque today.

The saddest thing is that, to be in top 10% during psle doesn't mean you will get this award at all.

Award is good to have, and a bonus to have, but going to his / her preferred school with a good PSLE score beats all - that's the ultimate \"award\" to himself / herself!

I always tell my kid: Don't concentrate on award / prize. When you put in your effort and hard work, the \"award\" / \"prize\" will come your way.

Well said, Pen88n!! Totally agree that all these awards are good-to-have bonuses and a good motivator. At this crucial time, the kids should set their priorities right and work hard to achieve a good PSLE score, and eventually, they’ll be rewarded in one way or another.

DS received his follow-up letter today. Ceremony is on 8 Jan. From the letter, it seems like he needs to attend the ceremony in order to receive the cheque and it was stated that the ceremony will be held once only and all uncollected cheques will be returned to MOE.

The edusave scholarship presentation is on the 23rd Jan 2011. Last batch of 2nd letter to receive latest by next week. By then, still not in sight should inform your constituency’s CC. Cheers! $650 award!

Top 5% ($400) and 10% (350) of your primary school level (P5 & P6) not the entire primary level in Singapore. Congratulation :celebrate:
