It's hard to accept, esp for 1st timers registering for PV or P1 registration. Even for myself when we were rejected for PV then, the news really made us very depressed and we didn't know what to do nor where to go.

Maybe he meant there is overwhelming response...as such Phase 2C is fully taken up or almost taken up.
YA... 习惯就好... popular schs are like that... just come up with Plan B... or look at other schs...
Popular schools are more popular now. -

Interview for a job oso not so difficult. I had a hard time writing our resumes for the PVs cos no idea what they want. At least when writing in for a job we know at least what the company is looking for and can position ourselves better. And if kenna rejected, may still get some feedback on why we were not selected. This, just a rejection letter.

I don’t remember going for any interview test for PV…if get a place in the school of choice, that feeling is even better than striking 4D !!!
But I agree that interview for job also not that stressful…if get, then good…if not, then too bad. No big deal.
However, when we were rejected by that letter, I asked hubby, ‘what’s next ? Still want to go for the school ?’ He replied, ‘Yes, still go for it. Under 2C’. -

That's exactly what my hubby and I (was preggy then) did...clocking more than 40 hrs. We were unsuccessful during the phase 2B-1km ballot... put on waiting list. Thankfully, my gal has been offered a place at ATS today cos there's a vacancy.limhowping:
PV works doesl not guarantee a place. But if you are doing it, try making it more than 40 hours. The school will appreciate it. I did PV in yr 2009-2010, but was not lucky in the ballots in phase 2B cause we were outside 1km. However, was offerred a place in the late Nov 2010. Apparently, clocking more than 40 hours do help.
Hubby & I did PV for more than 40 hours...and continued with it. The school admin asked for help and hubby was more than willing. When parents do PV for the school and are not successful during balloting, the school will take note as service has been done FOR the school. -

I'm glad you got a vacancy...doing PV while pregnant must have been tough on you.

Well, we were very fortunate then...at the last minute, the school called to ask if we're still keen to be PV. Anway, we would still prepared to register under Phase 2C then.

Thanks janet. Now we can see the fruit of our labour, all efforts are worth it.
