Hi, I have some friends who are in St Nicholas Sec. The feedback from my friends aren't that good though. They say that the teachers are not that friendly, and the pupils are proud and snobbish.

No, it is not true. In fact some of the teachers are very nice πŸ˜„ And no, the girls there aren't snobbish. πŸ˜„ The seniors there are actually very nice and during the orientation and camps for sec 1 they were very helpful and approachable πŸ˜‰

Gee, I don't even remember about workload in sec 1. Not THAT much i'd say. The hours were quite reasonable except that she ended 2.20 to 2.30 on days that she didn't have to stay back. CCA was 2x/week, from 3.30pm to 6.30pm.

I leave my kids to manage on their own once they go to sec school. My daughter enjoyed her 10 years in st nicks!

For sec ones, no exams but they do have common test almost every week plus assignments, have to make use of weekends to do assignments. As for homework, not a lot. If you are in the performing arts, cca is twice a week on tues n thur from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. For sports, it s mon, wed, n fri. Not sure of uniform groups and clubs. If your child is posted to sec 1 Diligence or Faith, CONGRATULATIONS! She is in the stretch class.

Hi… My daughter’s PSLE result didnt meet St. Nicholas Sec COP. So she didnt manage to get in but she really loves to go to this school.

I told her if she would work hard in Sec 1 we might be able to consider transferring her.

Any parent or anyone knows who had experienced and successfully transferred to CHIJ St. Nicholas?

Are the Primary and Secondary Schools affiliated so that the PSLE scores can get bonus points for entry into the St nicks Sec School?
