Hi all, My boy will be going to TGPS and in 1Care class. We went to the orientation and DS likes the school a lot. Just bought uniform and books yesterday. Now busy wrapping books and sewing his name on all his clothes. From what I saw so dar, I think DS will enjoy his new school.

Did you manage to get all the plastic folders? DS is short of 2 colours. I haven't sewn the name tags yet. =P
Last night DS and I packed his books for the first day, wa, very heavy. Hopefully they will be given lockers.
Nice to know another mummy here
Happy New Yr!

I managed toget plastic folders but not the ring files and diary. Need to get them next week. Yes I also think there are too many books on the first day. May be the teacher want to introduce them to the children since they ask for both math workbook.
I sewed the name tags yesterday. Also sewed DSβ name on his pants and shoes. Get DS to write his name in the workbooks and exercise books so that he get involved too.
Hope to see more parents joining this forum. -

I sewed in the inside of the flap under the velco. At least a way to identify his shoes if it ever gets mixed up since I saw quite a few parents buying shoes from the school.

First day of school today. I wish all go well with the P1 students and parents.

Hi all,
My son started his P1 today at TGPS and i am glad that he is managing well. And with the buddy system at recess, he would have no problem in getting his food and drink.
My elder gal is in P3 and i am happy to say she had been enjoying school days since Day 1 in 2009.
Hope to exchange information with all the parents in this networking group.

Hi Astee, welcome. Which class is your DS in? My DS is in 1 Care. He is super blur the first day. Asked him if his Mother Touge teacher is a man or lady, he said don't know :-(. Got me worry for a while. Hope he adapted to the new environment soon.Hi all,
