I am new here. Bought the whole set of uniform for my son before getting the call two days ago that we have been given a place nearer to our home. Sad to leave Pei Chun as I really like the school, but the time saved in travelling will be worth it (I hope!)

I was at PeiChun with my DD for the orientation day. a plate of noodles cost around $0.50 and packet milo drink cost around $0.80.
I planned to give her $1.50.

And wanna also check with you, those books that we buy in school, do you happen to see any music text book ? Because the information booklet page 27 we got from PC, state that Art textbk and the music textbk will be informed to us when to bring … but i cannot find the music txtbks, i only can find the Art and Craft txbk…

On Orientation day, my son bought a plate of noodle with 2 fish cakes and that cost $1. He also wanted a bottle of "juice" which cost $0.70. So if the kids can resist the temptation of sweet drinks, than $1.50 will be enough, otherwise if would have to be $2. Can really feel the impact of inflation.


I also notice the mention of music book and I asked the form teacher on Orientation day. She wasnt sure and asked me to check with the Level Master. I did not have the chance to meet the Level Master so I went to the bookshop to ask and was told that they were not sure about the music book either.

Hi Parents, any idea what the Character Development Folder looks like? Didn’t seem to see that in my pack of school stationeries. And the A-star folder/ file that was advised for homework, is it in our pack of stationeries as well? Appreciate prompt advise from parents as its necessary for 3rd day of school.
