        Sharing some very quick to cook recipe of a no time to spare working mummy. :lol:

        Pineapple Fried Rice

        200g boneless chicken, skinless and cubed
        100g Ripe pineapple, cut into 0.5 cm x 0.5 cm cubes
        2 cups Cool steam rice
        1 medium onion, roughly chopped
        3 tbsp of nam pla (fish sauce)
        1 tbsp light soy sauce
        1 tsp tumeric powder
        1 tsp sugar
        1/2 tsp salt
        50g roasted cashew nuts

        Heat oil in wok over high heat. Saute onion till fragrant. Add chicken and saute till cooked. Season with nam pla, light soy sauce, sugar and salt. Add cooked rice, tumeric powder and lastly pineapple, stir till well mixed.

        Garnishing: thin slice coriander leaves, meat floss & cracker (optional)

            Attended a cooking class at Sunrise. Tried many times cause it's easy. Picture?? It's Thai Pineapple fried rice lah. The normal ones that people usually order when they frequent Thai restaurant.

              I dun usuali order that or rather have not
              ordered that rice before reali, so i think it's this one?
              Fair and lovely = Not so spicy? (In reference to your recipe?)

              There's another reddish coloured kind.. suppose that kind is either
              spicy with chilli paste or soury sweet with tomato paste.

                    Another quicker option, buy the ready Thai Pineapple Rice spice paste from Asian Home Gourmet ! Instruction given and taste is not bad !

                      evening at the Kopitiam beside
                      the Greenridge Banquet where
                      i like to hang out with my tea...

                      These from Tenderbest stall @
                      the Kopitiam, Jelapang Road...

                      Definitely affordable binge-ing!

                      FISH & CHIPS @ ONLY $5.80.
                      Good sized serving of fish.
                      Arrived super crispy and
                      yummy. I like the coleslaw
                      which the girls don't really
                      eat..

                      fresh, with rich servings of nice
                      blend of spaghetti sauce... a lil'

                      chicken, crabsticks, scallops (i think)
                      mushrooms & prawns. Slurrrggghhp... :drool:

                        On my recent trip to Yew Tee's new foodcourt
                        @ Yew Tee MRT called \"The Cafe Lobby\" we
                        found this gem of a prata place called Mumtaz
                        Prata. If i'm not mistaken, mumtaz simply means
                        \"excellent\"!

                        And excellent it was.. This plate of briyani serves
                        one and at a steal price of only $3.00! Where else
                        can find briyani at that price.... and i mean a good
                        briyani wor... šŸ˜‰ Within the vicinity some more!

                        They currently have this promotion whereby if you
                        bought stuff at the foodcourt for only $2.00 in a
                        single receipt, you get either a cup of tea/coffee
                        free or if you like a cold drink with yer lunch.....
                        then they also offer a glass of lime juice free!
                        Yes, only $2.00 purchase leh.. 2 prata with egg
                        should already qualify you to get a complete meal
                        ie.food and drinks!

                        So, thought to share this promotion with all. šŸ˜‰
