My girl is in Judo. She's year 3 this year. If you have any queries abt judo, i can always ask her to reply.

BTW, RGS Judo trg is combine with RI only on Fri. The other 2 weekly trgs are just RGS girls only.

May I check with you Art & craft is a merit CCA? Last year there is only 1 day for this CCA, is it have any change on this CCA for this year?

She did pretty well for the shooting and was one of the few who hit the targets. However, i believe she fancies judo.

That's great. It's good to try out for a few sports so she can have a choice of which one to select finally. Also bearing in mind that not everyone gets selected to their preferred CCA.

Thanx for the prompt reply. Just wondering if she would need some initial training before being selected or recreational judo would suffice to allow her to at least try that for a CCA.

My girl did not have any prior trg at all, I think most of her batchmate do not have prior trg too. In fact my girl's cca in primary school was dance!

After the selection trials in RGS, she was selected for both dance and judo. She insisted on Judo!!!Anyway, I'm glad that I let her make her own choice coz she's very happy to be in Judo, the team mates are very bonded.
