Yeah I know. He takes 156/153 to SJI, and the frequency is like 9 min, furthermore, the jam alone on the highway takes 30-45 min. Horrid traffic.
If he lives in Sengkang, there is a direct bus, 156, from SK to SJI, but I am not sure if it really takes 1.5hours to get to school though I know the frequency fofr 156 can be quite bad at times.25hourmaid:
Hi parents,
I'm asking for my friend here.
He takes 1.5 hours to get to school, I have no idea why.
He lives in Sengkang.
Is there any way he can get from here to there in a shorter time ?
Thanks. ^^
To Herbie: Alright, I will. Thanks a million. ^^
you want to consider the transport found on the school website

sengkang mrt to little india mrt = 25min (this one no jam)
little india mrt bus to SJI - 7 bus stops - about 30 minutes ( i think light traffic only from this direction)
add in the walking = +10min?
about slightly more than an hour. -

Agree with mckenzy. There are many buses from little india that go to sji. Takes about 15-20 minutes. This should be the fastest way. I live in Bedok and my son takes the train to Bugis and then takes the bus from there. It's faster than taking the direct bus, due to unforseen traffic jams.sengkang mrt to little india mrt = 25min (this one no jam)

Hi, any parents care to share what CCA their sons are currently in SJI? How are their sons coping with the schedule and are they enjoying the CCAs?

Any parents whose sons are in NCC land/air? Would like some feedback, thanks

Actually, the pick up points are not only from 2 locations.
My son now in SJI sec 1 and the school bus picks him from my driveway in Sengkang. He's the first to be picked up at 6am, and reaches SJI at ~7am. -
hi puppyfairy, the bus info was mentioned by mr jude tan during the sec one briefing.
