Oh no! My girl has PEHE session tomorrow but I don't know what's that? Is it PE lesson? Need to let her wear PE shirt and shorts to school?

My DD's timetable does not have PEHE leh. But could be like what Tinkerbelle said, a combi of PE and HE.

            Hi parents,

can anyone explain what is this \"edusave account\" thingy? We are supposed to make a payment for the PE3 and it comes wif a form for deduction fr edusave account.

The cost shld b $220 but can only withdraw $100 fr edusave account??? Confused??? How do we even know we have an edusave account???? :? :? :?
The Edusave account is automatically set up by the government for all Singaporean students when they start P1. Your child is now $200 richer. :moneyflies: The government will make yearly contributions to all accounts. This means your child will get $200 every year. This money can be used for enrichment lessons, PE3 etc.

So, to answer your questions, if your child is a Singaporean, she will have an Edusave account already. You only need to pay $100 for PE3 because the sch subsidises the other portion. If you sign the PE3 form, the sch will deduct $100 from your DD's Edusave account. If you don't sign, you'll need to pay cash/cheque. Down the road, when you deplete funds in your DD's Edusave account, you'll need to pay cash/cheque. 😉

Today is the 3rd day, DD has been waking up late and we got into GSSC only at 10am. I've decided that this will be the arrangement since DH's timing is flexi. I kinda lost track, whose DDs are also in GSSC?

@acjb: If you are the preggie mom with Coach handbag, think I saw you on Day 1.

                  Yes! You are right!
Do come up to chat with me ok.... Hard for me to know and identify any of you...,
My child is attending GSSC too.

I was one of those trailing behind the girls when they walked over from GSSC to the assembly hall. In white T & jeans.

Hi funkymonkey, It's wonderful to hear your DD loves sch.

Ya, so sweet of her. :politebleah: I believe the buddies do make a big difference to the 1st few days of sch for the little ones. My DD2 still keep in touch with her P5 buddy from last year. Though they are in different sessions, they still chat to each other when they have a chance to see each other during single sessions and when the buddy stays back for supplementary lessons.
