      Enthusiastic Gal:
Hi. I'm just curious, for DSA, what results does NUS accept? Top 1%?

they accept students based on the performance in DSA camp and tests set by NUSH, plus if your P5 / P6 results in math and sci is good; also if you are a math olympiad high achiever

My DH attended the briefing cum dinner last evening with my DD.at the NUSH Concourse prior to briefing..

Yeah, the atmosphere is execellent Everyone, parents and DD/DS happily tuck in a sumptous meal and the kids are especially fired up after 3 days orienations. .My DH is most please with the 2-2-2 curriculum and believe DD should be inspired to do her best while in NUSH... not too sure eventually which direction she will go ...and without any pressure of any national exams, NUSH students are indeed a special lot of pupils ...to achieve their academic excellence....

BTW anyone here want to guess the size of the year 1 cohort for 2011 ? I am certainly surprised... :celebrate:

No No .. from what I read from the name list roster (from reliable internal sources accessible to parent) , only only an intake of 138 for entire cohort ( I thot should be 170) ...and only 29 girls only .. 😢 😢

The smallest intake for an IP school, I guess the Y3 intake for this batch will increase significantly to make up for the number :?

I wonder why the intake’s so small. Did students decide not to go to NUSH after accepting the place initially?

I think they look for quality rather than quantity. My friend DS 260 w A* in both math n sci cant get a place???
