How do you make kaya in the breadmaker?

I am not heyhoe, but I think I can answer that. Just throw in all the ingredients for kaya and set to jam function. Not sure about other models, but this is what I do to mine.

Once the kaya is done, I would put it into my blender to get a smooth textured kaya.

        heyhoe:
Another thing is, I would agree with 25hourmaid that it is better to get horizontal pan, as I believe this model will enable you to make kaya or jam as well. Just that space saving wise and design looks better on vertical zojirushi machine.

I think the jam function is not limited to the horizontal pan. Some vertical pan models are able to make jam too.

The advantage about doing our own kaya is that we can control the amout of sugar that goes in and also the quality of ingredients.

Goodness me, all that talk about making kaya is making me  Help, I need a bib prior to dashing downstairs to get the ingredients and making my kaya right now! :?:

Haha, but I am sure you are not going to get a breadmachine just for the sake of making kaya, right?

Kaya is basically very sinful coconut milk, sugar and eggs combined! πŸ˜‰

                      Gosh,

All this discussion is tempting me to consider investing in a bread making machine.

                      I love my bread πŸ˜„

I tried to purchase a Made in Japan Zojirushi airpot this weekend but was told they are now made in Malaysia or China.
