All About Full-Time Maids

Hiccup:
Good that you're keeping her $600. It'll make her think twice about running away. Hope your transfer maid turns out well. I had a transfer maid with experience in HK and Singapore too. She was a nightmare! How old is your transfer maid?I am also very scared that she will run away. Hope everything goes well tomorrow.
I went with her to close her bank account this afternoon. DBS Bank was very nice to waive $30 as she did not maintain the account for six months or more. I am keeping her $600 and told her that I will release it to her when she leaves.
Have also notified the agent and selected a transfer maid, eventhough I had a bad experience with transfer maid once. This maid has plenty of experience, in Hong Kong and Singapore. I am wary too, but no choice as I need help over CNY.
Keeping my fingers crossed. -
Aiyoh, you frighten me now. She is 31 years old this March 2011. She can speak Cantonese, Chinese, English.
I am hoping that she will be good. She did asked whether she can have a handphone later on and also off-day. Agent told her no. -

Not anymore I think. The MOM stuff (work permit, health check) you can do on your own but not the Phillippine travel documentation, as the Phillippine embassy has tightened its controls. The embassy will not deal directly with employers whose maids are less than 2 years with them; it will only deal with accredited agencies. Employers can deal directly with the embassy only if their workers have been with them two years at least. -

My agency is Loyal Employment Agency at Hougang Green. Maybe I am lucky that the maid was there waiting for new employers. She asked to be transferred as she was made to clean 3 places, ie, her employer's property plus his mom and sister's flats. I normally keep clear of transfer maids, but no choice cos need one to help out during CNY.i'm looking for one dat can understand or speak mandarin, hokkien or cantonese other den english. most agencies i approached dun have. hiccup which is your agency?

My agent mentioned to me before she was looking for filipino maids but hard to find nowadays. She handled paper work for my direct-hire filipino maids before and is quite a responsible person. If you are interested, you can pm me and i'll send you her contact details
