All of us had to pay for the full year upfront. So frustrating. And no changes despite our complaints.

Yes, we paid for lunch too on Mondays coz they finish at 3.45pm. I haven't seen any vegetables or fruits so far. They are not allowed to go to the canteen.

And they cheated us of salad on 3 occasions!!! Friday's fish burger & salad, yesterday's hot do bun with salad and lunch salad!!

I guess many parents have called to complain The biscuit yesterday was so pathetic!

I resisted signing up for the catered food but finally gave in along the way when my son kept asking for it. I was so committed to preparing his recess food that I would wake up at 5+ to fry udon etc etc & put in thermal flask. I felt that home prepared food is always healthier but my son felt so left out as he was almost the only one not on the catered food scheme.


It pains us that our sons are at the mercy of the caterer! Nonya Manis could definitely deliver better food. Better food need not be more expensive. Kids don’t demand alot. Healthier options need not cost more, just more thoughts into the planning of the menu & delivering it.

Remember the pathetic YOG packed food supplied to volunteers? The food was changed only after photos were taken and posted online.


Maybe take pictures of the crackers, packet drinks etc over a few days and send them to the principal’s office? Threaten to blow it up furthur if refunds are not provided and/or the food is not changed. If the school does nothing, they are also partially responsible for not eyeballing this horrendous caterer.

I feel very angry and cheated just reading about this. Granted that canteen food, even if available, is not the most nutritious anyway, this caterer should not list one thing and provide the other.

if its experienced caterer, shdnt hv excuses abt unexpected demand etc. its just outright cheating.
