Yes the pages 15 -20 is really helpful to me. cause its transforming the objects to bar. clear example. I can print it and use it as an ex. to my dd.

I think you may also find some slides on parents’ workshop from other schools as well.

If your kid is in P2, the good news is you have plenty of time to pick up MD.

Spend some time in Popular, you may find some useful books.

I used i-excel: Heuristic and model approach by Li Fanglan for my DDs and they found the examples in the book easy to understand. The book covers heuristic questions and also teaches the concept of models with simple questions and pictures. It even comes with different colour-coded bars of different lengths for the child to stick onto to models so he/she can visualise the models better. If you want to start from the basics, maybe use the P1 book first, then move on to the P2 book.

I bought them at United Square Popular last year. Maybe can check the books out when your DD is at TLL. Dunno if PCS starts teaching models at P1 cos some schs don't start till P2. :lol:

I am preparing myself and learn first so that I know how to teach. I used to learn from my P5 students wen I was tutoring but that was almost 10-15 years ago...
