Hi acbj,
Group banding and class banding are different. All MT classes are banded and in each of this banded classes, the teacher will further band their students into different groups. In other words, even if your DD is in the top Chinese class, the gals in that class will be further banded in higher-ability students and \"average\" students. Banded classes are easier to identify but banded groups in each class are harder to identify as teachers tend to group some high-ability students with some weaker students in each group. That way, the high-ability students can also assist the weaker ones in the group.
remedial, standard or enrichment classes in Term 2.

Yipee!!! DD has been accepted in R Gym. But it's not 2 x a week, it's juz once a week. Saw fr the schedule, it's the R Gym (recreational).

If your DD shows potential in R Gym, she'll be selected for the sch team. Imagine your DD will be throwing balls, clubs and ribbons around the house in the future...Haha :rahrah:
