CNY - do you look forward to it?

Definitely a time for big celebration! :celebrate:
Oh yes, simply great !!! Have to keep the happiness and excitement inside and not show it. They are flying off next Friday. After they have flown off, I will be more excited about CNY.
Heard from hubby they could be extending to 6 months. Whatever lah.
After they have flown off, I will share this happiness with my son. He can keep secrets. -

HOPE they will be stuck there, busy looking after 2 young kids. From what I know, they only like to PLAY with kids, not look after. But then again, those are their grandchildren.

I generally like CNY because I get to catch up with my cousins.
Spring cleaning is siong thoโ. Donโt think I will get anything much done this year because of the third kid.
BTW, do you guys "reclaim" ang pows given to the kids after that (except perhaps those given by yourselves and their grandparents, godparents etc)?

No = 1st day visiting @ hubbyโs granny place which is boring
No = 2nd day gathering @ PIL place which is also boring
Yes = visiting & gathering @ my parentโs place -
 seems like a lot of NO if it is in-law and YES if it is own parents

I have washed the new bedsheets...so will change few days before CNY. If in good mood, then change curtains as well.I generally like CNY because I get to catch up with my cousins.

Enjoy CNY bcos I can meet up with my cousins at grandmother's place...we are all so busy otherwise.
I let the kids keep the red packets given by grandparents and relatives. As for those given by friends, I recycle. Actually, I deposit the kids' red packets into their savings account after CNY. -

I am lucky I don't have to stay long at in-law's place. Neither do I have to visit hubby's relatives. Reason is bcos SIL 'escapes' soon after lunch...so I do the same.
