Wow autumnbronze, you are so detailed! πŸ™‚ I chose Zojirushi because of it's size. So cute and compact! Plus salesgirl said the zojirushi pan is made of good quality so bread tastes nicer than the Kenwood one πŸ™‚

The Z brand is \"Made in Japan\" right? I am now ordering a fridge and also looking for \"Made in Japan\" if I want it to last.... πŸ‘…

Yes autumnbronze, no horizontal pan in Singapore but I think the vertical one size is good for small families especially if you want to eat fresh bread, you would not want to bake a big loaf and take a few days to finish. I like to eat within 1-2 days as there is no preservatives in home-baked bread so must consume fast. The horizontal pan cost too much if sold here so I think there is no market for it as people will go for other choices unlike in USA.

For bigger families, Severin is better cos it will produce bigger loaves.
            Yes, I agree.

Tempted with jam/kaya making and 25hourmaid mentioned horizontal pan is better for that.

Does the type of pan really matter?? Sorri, greenhorn here

BTW, do you know roughly how many slices of bread can be produced with HC10??
