Today my gal didn't cry on the way home. Phew!!! She said the teacher ignored her....whateverlah!

Anyway,i've already mention this to Ms Sung and e-mailed the AED and school counsellor to set up a meeting so we can sort this out. All this unhappiness is NOT healthy for ANY child...with or without special needs.

We did not receive any letter about CCA
Some good news is what my gal needs right now.

That's right...no sch bus. Can any relatives or friends help you out? There are quite a few CCAs on Wed ...if you're lucky, you might be able to find someone from MCS who also needs to send their DDs to CCA from Sembawang..

P1 gals are usually banded after Term 1. So they'll be split into different classes in Term 2. Not sure why the gal in your DD's class got sent to another class....Hmmm.....Was the Chinese teacher absent today? Because the gals will be split into different classes according to their register number if their teachers are absent.

Not sure if tinkerbelle can share with us. Does that mean that all MT periods are held at the same timing so that the gals can go to their respective class during the MT periods?

The student care does send your DD over to the sch for CCA. Just inform them of your DD's CCA schedule. I've ever seen students walk back to the student care for lunch. The security guards escorted the gals across the road, using the zebra crossing.

Yeap...all MT periods are held at the same time so everyone will have to to move to their respective MT classes. Majority of the students will stay put, except for students taking Malay, Tamil, plus weaker or high-ability Chinese students (who will move out of their classes for MT).

And that gal whom the teacher asked her to go to another class.. was coz she didnt know how to read... tsk tsk. Today I asked her, so which page did your chinese teacher stop? She said she was already teaching until page 21! I was thinking to myself, tat's fast... Only week 2... :shock: :shock:

Maybe most of the gals in the class know their HYPY so the teacher is moving at a fast pace....

BTW, just out of curiosity, is your DD's Chinese teacher from China?

Glad to know that DD didn't cry.

If there is no reply, have to call them up to double check just in case your email is lost or send to spam box or something.

Reading what happened to your DD makes my blood boil!!!

Since the school has given the bus drivers our info, it should be easy for them to compile a name list of who is taking their bus and which block are they staying in. They need to know that too since they will be asking the parents to pay the fees (charged according to different areas).
Besides all our DD have names sew on their uniform n PE T-shirts, is it that difficult?
Bus transport arrangement are usually for long term, they should at least put in some effort.
Thankfully the other parent is alert to notice and helpful.

As for Chinese, I still do not know exactly who is her teacher…


I thought it was a Mdm Tan (during Orientation) but DD came home and said it’s ‘Gao Lao Shi’. I don’t see any MT teacher on the website with that surname. I even asked if she is saying that the teacher is tall (Gao), but my DD corrected me and said her surname is Gao.

Are there trainee teachers (for attachment) in the school during this period?
I thought it is usually after June…
