My son also taking bus 5A, one thing i am quite upset is the bus is full and the bus helper asked the 3 students sit on 2 seats and i feel not safe at all.

Hi Parents, I am staying at Verde area (CCK 5). Was wondering if any parents are keen to car pool our children rather then taking the school bus? I can be the morning driver. Need an afternoon driver to get the kids home.


I have 2 kiddos. The current bus driver not only had increased his fare (his fare seems to be dearer then the rest of the drivers) by $10 (but it seems he quoted different prices to the parents.), he doesn't drive into the estate anymore. Image the children be drenched when it rains from walking out to the main road to wait for the bus.

Please note that there are 2 portals. One is for the parents and the other is for your kid. On the webaddress if you do not see the word parents, then you are in the portal for your kid. The user id and password is your ds or dd's BC number. You can change the password later. Hope it helps.

I am sorry cannot help you....as I stay far away from CCK area....hopefully some else can help you.

I am not impressed by the bus drivers from De La Salle. It seems like the school is staying out of this which I find strange. During the orientation I overhead a mummy asking a bus driver to stray a little bit out of his way to pick up her kid and the driver just said No. I also saw her talking to a couple of other bus drivers....I am not sure what happened.

Another person who posted that the bus driver asked 3 students to sit in a 2 seater....I think that should not be allowed.

Anyway I am not sure who sources for the bus company and how many buses, etc. I am sure demand and supply comes in.

hi all have been bz. yeah you were right it was chaotic on first 2 weeks now much better. i don mind car pool our kids to sch...but i am working so i need to and fro transportation for my son. i stay near limbang actually. if you the idea of carpool for send and fetch is confirmed do let me know. my email address is [email protected] right now i am like rushing my son off to blk 544 for the transport and my mother in law makes a trip in the afternoon to fetch. On rainy days its gonna be worse. car pool will be a great idea

I can borrow my son’s worksheet to you, but i suggested you not to let your son do the DLS papers. The DLS teacher will use the past years papers as "mock exam" for practice in the classroom. Why not you let your boy to do the Top School Exam Papers which can be downloaded from the web?
