      Happy Mama:

Thanks ksi πŸ™‚ Need to also ask you, for butter, how do u measure 1 tbs? Press it compact? Also, when they say dry milk, can I use Anlene milk powder? Many thanks πŸ˜„

I use the tbs spoon they give and scoop the olive oil spread and it is like margarine, soft so can take the shape of the spoon.

Yes I use Omega 3 milk powder, Anlene should be fine as well.

ok thank you ksi πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

        25hourmaid:
All thanks to the influence of this thread that I decided to bake a loaf again this afternoon, but boy, I had a \"great\" adventure! πŸ˜›

I have not used my breadmachine to bake for quite sometime, like I said before, I am more into buns than white loaves, so was literally πŸ™ that my machine would still bake, and guess what? :?

Everything was going on fine till it started baking! \"Tok\", the circuit breaker went off, computer went dead (was in the midst of typing a post here) :x :stupid: fan went dead! 😒 😒

Quicky reset my circuit breaker and then quickly dumped my unbaked loaf into my pullman loaf pan and dumped that into the oven! πŸ˜“ Managed to save my loaf of bread! πŸ˜„ Haha, so looks like my machine is a goner for baking, but can still be used for kneading and proofing! Don't think I can do anymore kaya too, but never mind, kaya can also be made using the rice cooker (porridge function)! πŸ˜“

So all in all, I had a little adventure today, but luckily managed to salvage my bread, so here are some pictures to share ....

The way we made Manuka Honey a big Hit I am sure we will make the breadmaker a big Hit too..

Maybe Chief should go n take the royalty for those πŸ˜›

*kaching* time for Chief to collect first royalty from Tangs please...

Btw Chief, now you can add breadmaker($295 from goh ah bee or $318 from tangs) for auction already...it is cheaper than ipad and very popular in demand. If you want to get one, maybe I can negotiate for cheaper since we are getting 2? kekeke
              What say you?

So much talk about bread arh? Since it only cost list $2 per commercial loaf that means you must bake at least 200 times to make back your investment in the machine πŸ™‚ ... and that is discounting the cost of the ingredients. Sure anot?

ok bread lovers, here's the verdict of my freshly-baked bread:

                  http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww246/ks2me/newbread4.jpg\">

                  http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww246/ks2me/newbread5.jpg\">

                  http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww246/ks2me/newbread6.jpg\">

I thought Bluesky produced soft and fluffy bread, this one is even more fluffy. Bluesky bread is more porous than this one. One loaf can slice into 9 pieces.

Haha I store the bread in the Gardenia wrapper, it looks slightly smaller than a regular loaf from Gardenia

Err..Chief, the Math got some problem.
Firstly, $2 you are talking about basic loaf, the banana walnut, raisin bread is not this price. Secondly, this machine can make char siew bao, pizza, jam, pasta and more......so the savings from there?

Anyway, I have already bought my machine...too late to get a deal for 2...kekeke.

Wah nice bread 25hrmaid! So nice loaf..Bluesky always promises.

All electrical equipment must use regular otherwise this will happen. Same for oven...so I may be doing some baking this weekend.

Oh if the breadmaker is not working entirely anymore...then time to get it thru the auction if it happens. πŸ˜‰

How I wish mine will be like this the next round. So the taste is nicer using Zoji than Bluesky? The salesgirl told me Zoji's taste will be better than Kenwood because of the quality of it's pan. πŸ˜‰
