This habit I got from my DH after being with him for almost 20 yrs with him. Must look look, see see, ask ask, think think, then make a decision .... so for me, it might take some time b4 I purchase one lah

Both mrswongtuition and myself mentioned about this brand at the beginning of this thread.
Yes, I trust Princess' things. Had a coffeemaker (gift from husband's office function) before and now have a mini Princess steamer which is super useful, good for 2 paus and now my boys can have a variety of things for breakfast, don't have to stick to breads.
Have a regular steamer but I don't have the kind of space for the regular steamer to be on the kitchen top all the time, so this teeny tiny mini Princess steamer is such a blessing. -

Actually all the brands you mentioned, Z, Princess, Kenwood, Severin are good brands. Not sure about Panasonic's breadmachine though as I have never heard or seen such a machine from Panasonic before. Am under the impression that Panasonic is more into microwave ovens rather than breadmachines. They didn't have. Only Kenwood and the z brand.

Haha, would say that is very, very cautious of both you and husband .... take such a long time to decide on one thing.
HN has a warehouse sale this weekend? But .... but Benoi is so far away, don't know worth your effort going all the way there or not.
I have seen Princess being sold at Courts before. Forgot if Taka has it too. Not sure about Best Denki and HN though. -

Yup, saw the kenwood one, but too bulky. Honestly z is really compact and space saving by far

25hourmaid,
Will the shape (horizontal or vertical) of the pan affect the jam/kaya making process ???
