You are very bold!!! I still stick to kiasi where bread making is concerned since it takes 3 hours plus to find out the outcome... πŸ˜‰

Haha, no, not bold, but I think I believe it won't make much of a difference. If now you ask me to put the yeast in first and the water last, I would say no thank you. πŸ˜‰

Just go and put la...quite a number of you have good chance to win one if Chief can offer a few for auction...... πŸ‘… :siam: from Chief...

For sure it won't be me who is putting up that request. I am not interested in a breadmachine for the auction, don't need a cute machine! πŸ˜›

What I read is almost everything has a reaction with the yeast....so I try to stick to precision of steps to avoid wrong kind of reaction with yeast. Of course if you can afford to experiment, please do so. For me, each time I bake bread, it must be put on the table for my little pihrana who loves to eat bread so much now.

You said it man! I never expected a thread on breadmachine to go into 60+ pages in days! Think it is even hotter than the COP thread I started last year! πŸ˜‰

Oh maybe the cute machine does all the jam work for you instead  of bread which is probably not enough for your family.

Another thing I read in my research on breadmaking is that apart from water, yeast must never be mixed with salt too and that's why the salt is always covered by the flour before the yeast is added.

Haha, I have my rice cooker with the porridge function to make my kaya, so don't need that cute little thing to help me along and yes, that cute little thing is a bit too small for my family. πŸ˜›
