U may wan to ask yur DD to make as much frenz as possible. Tat way she won't feel so alone.

I enjoyed reading all the pages I had missed and was sharing with DH all the funny stuff shared by humorous MCS mummies!

Worriedparent74, my gal is in 1 gratitude as well but she has missed school for a whole week from a viral fever. So frankly, we have no idea what has been happening in class. But mrs Goh did ask me to go pick up her forms n class work on Friday. A lot of work to catch up on!

We wrote to Mrs Goh to get sm clarifications on books went missing or kept by school only but end up more confused
So will b doing the clarification during the parents' briefing this coming wk

I see the kids there all happy except my daughter so wonder if I hv made the wrong decision
She has been pleading me to nt let her go SC
Last week she cried when sent her there

thanks a lot! she does love netball. my worries are exactly what you just said. what if she's not agile enough? i know netball is a physically demanding sports. my p4 DD already in netball CCA,just copying the sister! Iam still hunting and looking for the mummies in same class as my gals. :lol: :lol: :lol: i hope i don't scared them. :!:

My daughter's at P2 Humility as well. Good to have another parent from the same class.

Poor girl, u may wan to encourage her to make frenz wif my DD. Not sure if it helps. I will PM u her name. My DD is most petite so u can't miss her. However she's quite independent despite being blur most of d time

Tinkerbelle, thanks for telling me to email to Mdm Tan Li Kiang, she was so kind to call me back around 7pm that day but I was rushing down to fetch my DD so she said she will call me again the next day, but guess what? she called around 9pm that nite, she explained to my hubby that she will arrange an audition on ART to my DD on wed and see if she has talent to it then we decide to let DD join either Art Club or R Gym, so I will let DD to decide on her own.

oh i forgot to ask, some says there's a Lost and Found corner in Foyer, is it? my DD lost her water bottle again, second times already, sigh...i told her to go check with general office so i should tell her to go Foyer?

DD said 'Lost & Found' is usually at the General Office. You mean it's been shifted to the foyer now?? Maybe too many lost water bottles etc during 1st few weeks of sch... Maybe your DD try the foyer first. If there's no lost & found there, then it'll be at the general office.

We don't know if DD1 should go for the DSA exercise yet. If she does, it'll be through academic. Will decide once we find out more info about DSA in May/June.
