Wah Happy Mama and ksi, your breads look positively yummy!! Tell us how it tastes. 🙂

For me it tastes better than commercially bought ones because I can eat it when still a bit warm. And for bread with ingredients it will always taste good because you can add the amount of ingredients per yr liking.
For example, the raisins was only 1/4 cup which I think will be sparse on the bread so I change to 1/2 cup and now it looks like choc chip bread.... Actually we love alot of raisins and my girl will eat all the raisins first then attack the bread.

Now I know how to control the crust better, it also helps to determine if I want it crispy or softer on the outer layer.

To all bread lovers…while you are scouting for your machine…just get a good bread knife to go with it as well otherwise you bake a beautiful bread but have problem slicing it beautifully with normal knife. Bread knife should have no jagged edges.

My bread tastes fabulous! Crispy on the outside, moist and chewy inside. Plus the fragrance and warmth of the bread, it's heavenly

yah lor, found out the hard way. currently no bread knife yet. last nite, had to settle for normal ktichen knife and our sliced bread looked so deformed after that  😢

in the end, dh and i - literally - had to break bread together for our supper 😐

                  😉

Yes that's precisely what happened to me. Can't cut bread properly. Must buy the knife to complete the professional look 😉
