One question before I turn in for the night... Where can I get good bread knife? Or rather, any brand to recommend? Thank you πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‰

Thought ksi mentioned something about a henkel knife or something like that? I suppose Tangs or Taka would be a good place to scout around for one? 😎

Bought mine donkeys' years ago, forgot from where and at what price, don't even know what brand.

Ok thanks, but just that there are so many types of knife of different sizes etc, so which is for bread? Long, short, pointed edge, square edge etc? :? :? So confusing...

Can we use the prepacked bread mixes in the bread machines?

If not mistaken, for the Z brand, we have to follow the instructions in the recipe book closely. It all calls for fresh ingredients. Not so sure if the prepacked ones can be used.

Another thought comes to mind. For the prepacked bread mixes, it may be for a certain bread size. So, it also depends on the size of your breadmachine. The pan for the Z machine is mini-sized (as the product name suggests). 😎
